Working with the Spire Manchester Hospital senior management and corporate team to relocate the existing hospital, and to commission the new tertiary £63m new build hospital in West Didsbury, Manchester

Part of the commissioning team for this new independent tertiary hospital in Kent which opened in April 2014. As Director of Clinical Services undertook the multi-disciplinary team leadership and operational clinical management of this new venture, setting up new services, recruiting a wide range of specialist staff and delivering quality services in a competitive private sector environment.Part of the team that set up the cardiology service and won the Laing and Buission Award for Nursing Practice in 2015.

Undertaking consultancy and advisory services for clinical resourcing projects which includes the recruitment of Resident Medical Officers and Theatre staff across the HCA hospital group, and the professional supervision of bureau nurses.

Professionally responsible for the clinical services and the operational management at this independent hospital in central London. Managed a multidisciplinary team of 400 plus clinical staff which included 14 Resident Medical OfficersThis role incorporated integrated governance, quality and risk management. Other responsibilities include budgetary and productivity management and business planning. Member of the hospital's Medical Advisory Committee and chaired various corporate committees including the Theatre Services Group, and the Clinical Practice Development Group.

General and professional line management of all surgical specialties and the anaesthetic department - this was a broad, wide ranging post where I gained huge experience in numerous departments and clinical areas. Some achievement included* successfully achieving waiting list targets for both outpatient appointments and in-patient admissions*leading projects as part of the modernisation agenda to redesign the perioperative patient pathway*setting up systems to introduce the multi-skilling of Theatre staff*Introducing a fast-track nurse led clinic for patients undergoing primary hip and knee replacementparticipating in the project team that completed the clinical design and the selection of PFI consortium bidders for the Trust's Ambulatory care and Diagnostic Centre
