Shirley has over 6 years of extensive experience advising clients on corporate governance, restructuring, mergers and acquisition, venture capital/private equity investment (with a focus on technology, media and telecommunication (TMT), joint venture and strategic alliances, and regulatory advice in various industries with ESG elements (including but not limited to manufacturing, energy and industrials, life science and health care, technology and telecoms, cybersecurity and data privacy, finance, insurance and investment, automotive, employment and education).She also works with wider Hogan Lovells team in Hong Kong, Singapore, US, UK and EU on regulatory advice, PE/VC transactions, M&A, global restructuring, joint venture, export control, FCPA, data protection, IP enforcement and anti-money laundering (AML).

Shirley has developed her practice to cover all TMT sectors, including but not limited to gaming, film production and distribution, advertisement, cloud computing (including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS), cybersecurity and data privacy, VR, artificial intelligence (AI), wearable robot, robotic process automation (RPA), auto driving, domestic and cross-border e-payment, Fintech, virtual currency, DC/EP, P2P, telemedicine, online education, domestic and international/domestic multi-party communication,, domestic/international VPN solution (landline, MPLS, IPsec), CDN solution, VoIP, connected driving, time-share car renting, electronic navigation and online mapping, connection of things, and other telecommunication matters.

When Shirley was a law student, she had procured the opportunity to study and work in Germany from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, she worked at M&A team of DLA Piper's Hamburg Office and had participated in several cross-border M&A transactions involving China elements.
