Roles and Responsibilities: Administration of Windows Server 2003 / 2008 /2012  Deploying, Managing & Troubleshooting Windows 2008 / 2012 Active Directory environment Ensure replication between Domain Controllers Deploying and Managing complex Group Policies in a wide environment Building Windows servers as per the Standard Operating Procedures  Managing DNS Zones, replications & resource records Managing & troubleshooting the User Profiles Deploying patches using MS WSUS & WSUS Offline Updater Installation, Configuring and Managing HP Insight Tool Configuring new servers, services &performance counters for monitoring Configuring and Managing Remedy ticketing tool Create, Modify and Manage CI details in CMDB Upgrading Firmware and drivers of HP Blade Enclosures & servers Conducting proactive checks with regards to Windows servers such as Disk space, Services issues Conducting proactive checks with regards to Symantec anti-virus definitions updates and Synchronization  Configuration, Managing and Analysis of performance configuration counters on the central server for all the Data Center servers for the Capacity Planning Building ESXi servers as per the Standard Operating Procedures  Installation and configuration of Virtual Machine using VM Templates Configuring & Managing vMotion, Clusters, HA & DRS features Updating ESX host’s using VMware Update manager Monitoring and managing performance of ESX servers and Virtual Machines. Define and Apply roles & permissions on different levels of the vSphere infrastructure Work with existing Server and Storage team to plan upgrade of VMware environment

Responsible for providing IT support to the IBM Clients, including hardware, Windows OS related software installation and troubleshooting.Server Builds : Installing various OS on both physical and Virtual environments as required.Tools Installation: Various tools installation for monitoring and back up purpose and troubleshooting.Server Patching.Worked on Incident Management and Change Management.Performing Physical to Virtual conversion of servers.Was also a part of Data Centre Migration activityPerforming Service Activation of all newly built servers. This includes answering a checklist involving a series of questions related to server patching,UID labelling, Anti virus updating etc.Performing Service Deactivation / Server Decommission, which is related to removal of all the services and applications installed on the server and disk wiping.
