I grew up in the south, in a large catholic family of 6 children. I am the oldest of 5 girls. I knew I wanted to start my own business when I was in middle school. After going to college and working in government, academia and banking, I started my first IT business. I subsequently started 5 additional businesses and ended up selling 4 of them. Not all were successful. Like most people, I learned more from the failures than the successes. My team and I now help others grow their businesses in the extraordinarily complex federal market by instilling a business development management discipline. You can only grow if you are informed, focused and disciplined. It is my passion. I work well with others who provide sales, marketing, capture, proposal, training, recruiting, accounting, legal and banking services to small, growth oriented federal contractors. I welcome them to my team! The government and the American people benefit from the innovation and efficiencies provided by these creative, hard working small businesses. And because I love talking to smart, interesting people and sharing my own lessons learned, I host the Growth Masters Federal™ podcast. I share my blessings through philanthropy. I am particularly intent on fostering worldwide sustainable innovation-based economic development through technology entrepreneurship and developing programs that mentor the next generation of ethical, diverse STEM leaders. It is my hope that innovation will save humanity.
