Business Development Manager
CurrentI commenced employment at MEGT (Australia) Ltd in September, 2008. In this diverse role I develop new business opportunities in training, education and employment. I work towards initiating entrepreneurial strategies and outcomes; assisting disadvantaged communities via our CSR objectives; developing and presenting business plans for innovative projects; seeking funding opportunities via submitting proposals and RfTs; and networking with employers, community based organisations, Indigenous communities and local, state and federal officials and politians. This position provides me with the opportunity to use my iniative and work with great people.MEGT (Australia) Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation operating for over 27 years and now employs over 650 staff across 63 offices in every state of Australia. We provide nationally accredited training through MEGT Institute, deliver Australian Apprenticeships Support Services through MEGT Australian Apprenticeships Centre (AAC) and employ & place Australian Apprentices with host employers through MEGT Group Training. Across these services, we work with over 77,500 employers and approximately 130,000 Australian Apprentices.
