Working as a Teaching Assistant for Professor Sanjukta Datta for the course ‘Reading Archaeology offered by her’, in Monsoon 2024.

Began 2 projects relating to ethnography, archaeology, and experimental archaeology, which are expected to continue into the future. Most of the research and the inspiration for the projects comes from the Southern Indian Neolithic, specifically, the site of Sanaganakallu.

I served as the President of the History Society at Ashoka University for a year. During my time, I have learnt to manage large teams, deal with difficult administrative scenarios, ideation and organise events and tried to make the discipline of History more accessible to the general Ashokan Population. Me and my team successfully conducted our flagship ‘Memory Museum’, raised funds for forums like the Social Justice Forum and Workers Samadhan Fund, and introduced reading circles discussing exciting literature in the Historical Field.

Researched ancient Indian pastoralism through primary sources, and conducted preliminary ethnographic surveys in the villages Rakhi Khas and Rakhi Shahpur of Rakhigarhi for a future project

Worked under the ADG of the ASI, Dr. Sanjay Manjul, and researched inter civilizational riverine trade within the Gujarat region and Indus basin of the Indus valley civilization.

Worked as a teacher of social sciences at local NGO during the peak of Covid-19. I taught mostly underprivileged children over zoom, as their schoolwork was the most impacted, and gave them an opportunity to continue their learning
