(CATEGORY HEAD DENIM & MENSWEAR)Buying and Merchandise Planning:1) Formulating store wise buying plan for entire season and reconciling final buying plan with business plan ensuring sales targets are met.2) Identifying different distribution channels to sell merchandise during the season.3) Calculating open to buy quantity category wise for efficient inventory management by coordinating with VM and project team for ensuring MBQ and MDQ quantities.4) Assessing season wise category performance for enhancing business growth and deciding product, size, ratio and MRP matrix5) Conducting market surveys to analyze and understand consumer needs and fashion trends.6) Ensure complete material planning and ensuring continuous supply at optimum costs.7) Handling souring through identification of alternate cost effective vendors/suppliers with an aim of procuring, production and packaging materials.8) Designing production plan and controlling day to day production affairs by designing production tracker to ensure timely deliveries to the stores.9) Ensuring product development is a continuous process, especially developing various styles, denims washes, non denim bottoms (Casuals & Formals), shirt (Casuals & formals) and keep a product bank ready.10) Responsible for dealing with different vendors across India and Worldwide for fabrics and accessories sourcing. Have sourced fabric directly from mills in China and Hongkong.
