I have a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and a Master’s degree in Life Sciences (with a Merit Scholarship) from the University of Mumbai. Having previously worked at UM-DAE-CBS Mumbai, IISER Trivandrum, and UPO Italy, I have built interdisciplinary research expertise in domains like biotechnology, epigenetics, crop breeding, and cosmeceuticals.I am a national award-winning science communicator who has worked with: (A) the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)-National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research (NIScPR) to develop an educational platform "JIGYASA" for deepening the Scientific Social Responsibility of Scientific Communities/Institutions (B) VIGYAN PRASAR, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India towards managing/initiating large-scale science popularization programs like TechNeev, Vigyan Sarvatra Pujyate, etc., designing policy interventions, and implementing various key elements of the National Education Policy (NEP) and National Science, Technology and Innovation Policy (STIP) of India.As an Erasmus Mundus (EMJMD) scholar at EMOTION, I am working towards my socio-scientific entrepreneurial goals and establishing myself as a voice in “Cosmetic Communication” for skin health and well-being.
