Global Quality Manager
CurrentSupporting the mechanical and electrical compressor products, working with internal stakeholders inside Purchasing, Engineering, Quality and manufacturing teams and ensuring a high-quality product. As a Global Quality Manager working with customers, end users, and suppliers to helping in developing solutions that meet the design, manufacturing, and application needs.• Leading and managing the quality function from new product conception through to warranty analysis to ensure a proactive culture so that customers receive the product to the highest standard of quality possible.• Driving any necessary culture change and improvement in business performance to deliver strategic goals. • Establishing quality and reliability standards by studying industry benchmarks and the requirements of customers and research/design and development, and defining the metrics required to assess performance against standards required. • Actively leading the reduction of Customer PPM’s, Warranty, Cost of Quality, and in house scrap and waste. • Leading and managing a robust supplier quality program to support the identification, selection, auditing, driving APQP, PPAP, NPI and coaching of tier 1 vendors; partnering with Global Purchasing to create a high level of inbound material quality.• Overseeing continuous improvement programs including 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma across all global locations.
