As a contributing manager, responsible for managing a team of highly qualified IC designers for the development of multimedia products for automotive infotainment market. Responsible for management of three global teams in both technical and management capacities. Assignment of appropriate resources for the project’s success and manage good communication between the teams and with other stakeholders. Role included tasks for IC tapeout such as guidance and assistance in timing closure, CTS, functional verification coverage, etc. Involved extensively in IC/system architecture, design and verification. Proposed chip architecture, regular discussion with remote firmware/software team and interfacing with the marketing team.Project management covered product definition to post-silicon validation. Responsibilities include, identifying milestones, assignment of resources, tracking progress and early identification of critical paths and appropriate corrective steps.
