Hey 👋, I'm Shiva.After graduating in Mechanical engineering, I made the leap to pursue my career in the Software Industry.I joined DCKAP in 2011 as Technical Recruiter. After this, I started leading the new business development for the staffing and eCommerce business, during which I generated over $1M in new business sales (in a year) around 2015-16.In mid-2017, I became DCKAP's first product salesperson and led the go-to-market strategy and sales for one of its products, Productimize.Later on, in 2019, I made another leap by moving to the marketing department completely.(Bootstrapped and hit half a million dollars in revenue around 2019. Unfortunately, we had to shut this down in 2022 since the market and category had evolved, and we decided to solve another interesting problem).In late 2020, one of the biggest changes we ever made was to transition the company from an agency approach to a complete product company approach. To do so, we had to redo a couple of things, one of which was to rebrand all our distribution-focused products and separate the agency business into a new brand by itself.From there, DCKAP's mission also changed. We're now building a custom ERP Integration Platform to help manufacturers and distributors streamline their operations. Together, we create an Integrated Experience for your employees and customers.Part of the team that bootstrapped DCKAP Integrator and did Zero to One Million in ARR.Today, as Head of Strategy and GTM, I help - DCKAP transition into a B2B product company and scale its product business while leading the marketing team responsible for the content, operations, brand, and growth.One of my core responsibilities is translating the CEO’s vision into a meaningful story that helps the entire journey - from employee hiring to customer acquisition and retention.
