Hi, I’m Shivali - an ambitious and adept professional with relentless zeal, boundless sincerity, a thoughtful intellect and the will to settle for nothing less than doing my very best across the work that I do. Over the past few years, I’ve elevated the Communications and Digital Engagement functions of various businesses and organisations across Europe and India. My most recent stint was as Communications Lead for a youth-led climate non-profit based in Scotland wherein I was responsible for developing the organisation’s communications strategy from scratch whilst also managing and supervising day-to-day communications and digital activities. Owing to my immense passion for mobilising mindsets for children’s empowerment and agency, my professional experience is underpinned by a Dual Master’s degree in Children’s Literature, Media and Culture which culminated into an A1 graded, 25,000-word thesis exploring the representations of children living in conflict within Indian children’s and YA literature. I was the Gold Medallist of my Bachelor’s in Media and Communication (with a specialisation in Advertising). In a nutshell, my interests span the fields of children’s culture, advertising and marketing communications and I’d love to chat with you about any of these (or books & films over a cuppa!) :)
