I am a Mechanical Engineering student at Penn State with hands-on experience in additive manufacturing, mechanical design, and research. In my recent internship at Wabtec (GE Transportation), I contributed to cost-reduction efforts by designing new connector blocks and large-scale models. Currently, I assist in research on defect detection in metal-based additive manufacturing to improve quality and reliability.I’ve also contributed to research at Fermilab, designing cooling systems for dark matter satellites, and at Northwestern, analyzing medical data for Atrial Fibrillation patients. With strong skills in MATLAB, SolidWorks, and Python, I am actively seeking internship opportunities to further apply my expertise and drive innovation in engineering.

Research Assistant - Fermilab Darkness ProjectFermilab Sep 2021 - Jun 2022Batavia, Illinois, United StatesEven though my formal internship ended, I’ve been offered an extension to continue working at Fermilab on this project during the 2021-22 academic year. This project is also being considered a special assignment for my current engineering class. I will finish fabricating the prototype cooling system, and test the final cooling system. -
Summer Research Intern - Quarknet Summer Research ProgramFermilab Jun 2021 - Aug 2021Batavia, Illinois, United Stateso Fermilab is America's largest particle physics and accelerator laboratory, and the QuarkNet program offers summer research opportunities in science and technology for students who have demonstrated a strong interest in and aptitude for science and mathematics. Students work with scientists for 6 weeks on projects related to the Fermilab research program.o I was one of the 6 interns that were selected out of 450+ applicants from across the USo I worked with a team of physicists who were developing a satellite to detect X-rays released by dark matter. The satellite had three main circuits that generated heat, and I designed the cooling system to transfer the heat to the radiator. Laptop computers use cooling fans that exhaust hot air to stay cool. Cooling circuit boards in a satellite is challenging because space contains no air. My earlier attempts could only move heat from one of the three circuits and after several redesigns, I was able to maximize heat transfer across all three circuits.o My formal internship ended but I’ll continue working at Fermilab during the 2021-22 academic year. My Fermilab project is being considered as an assignment for my current engineering class. -
Professional Mathematics InstructorMathnasium - The Math Learning Center Dec 2020 - Apr 2022o I’m a paid math instructor, supporting multiple Mathnasium centers including Crystal Lake, South Elgin, Algonquin, and Buffalo Grove. To be hired as a math tutor, you must pass the Mathnasium proficiency test scoring 85% or higher. o I have learned to lead by solving math problems from a place of confidence and teaching with the understanding that Math isn’t an easy subject for everyone.o I specialize in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus. o I tutor 3-4 students simultaneously per session, within a single day I tutor approximately 12 students -
Summer Research Intern - Biomedical EngineeringNorthwestern University Jun 2021 - Aug 2021o To further develop my interest in Biomedical Engineering (BME), I did an 8-week summer research internship in BME at Northwestern University.o I studied real-world medical data of Atrial Fibrillation (AF) patients that had undergone pulmonary vein isolation (procedure). In such patients, the heart's left atrium doesn't function properly due to abnormal electrical signaling. If untreated, this could promote clot formation and increase the risk of strokes. Medications can help prevent clot formation but run the risk of bleeding. Since a majority of AF patients won't incur strokes in their lifetime prescribing medication to all is risky. “4D Flow Cardiac MRI” could help identify AF patients that are predisposed to strokes and would benefit from medication.
