Managing, driving Critical and High Impact Incidents to closure within SLA targets by following the appropriate Incident handling procedures.Record and track the incident recovery steps throughout the lifecycle of an incident.Follow all documented procedures related to Incident management.Tracking of Incident from Opening to Closure, with timely communication to business.Communication with Business Clients and first point of contact/interface for application issues and outages between Business and Technology Team.Perform the internal review of incidents and supporting documentation, identifying gaps and come up with possible solutions to drive improvements to the incident management process.Providing updates to a variety of audiences including senior and exec management level for significant/highly impactful outages.Analysis of major incident data to produce recommendations for service improvement and handling/inputting to continuous improvement as required.Responsible for problem identification via various methods like Incident trend analysis, review of Critical and High Impact incidents. Creation and follow-up on tickets being raised regularly for re-occurring incidents Tracks the progress of all Problem Records to ensure they are actively moving through the Problem Management Process. Responsible for doing the Quality Review of the Problem Tickets. To actively monitor and support infrastructure related issues. File space and server down issues on Unix/Linux and Windows servers. Monitoring of network & Active Directory devices. Monitoring production applications. To react to predictive failures, before customers realize any impact.
