I am currently employed as Junior Auditor Manager at Nwanda Incorporated, where I manage teams of three to four trainee accountants. My roles involve performing audits of medium sized entities and compilation of financial statements using both IFRS and IFRS for SMEs, completing and reviewing of tax returns, reviewing of trainee accountants' work and handling client queries.I also assist the Audit Manager with other various tasks and duties such as planning of work of trainee accountants', etc.

In completing my articles as a Trainee Accountant at Grant Clinton and Associates I have performed audits, compiled financial statements, provided tax planning and computations as well as carried out different accounting functions for small to medium sized entities in various industries. These tasks required high attention to detail and the ability to perform under tight deadlines. As a result of excelling in the above tasks, I was promoted to Junior Audit Manager, where I’ve gain strong leadership qualities through managing a staff of eight to ten trainee accountants.

The role of tax assistant requirede me to perform the following:- Submit income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts- Performing the tax computations for individuals, companies and trusts- Liasing with SARS with handle all tax queries- Performing the tax planning of companies and trusts- Completed tax registrations for individuals, companies and trusts, as well as completed vat and paye registrations for companies.
