Making coffees, baking cakes, riding bikes and building a sustainable and efficient team for Fixed Gear Coffee. Over the last 4 years we have been busy building a community around our stores. Starting at the Cauberg in 2018, opening Maastricht in 2020 and moving the store during a pandemic has helped us build a resilient business and a strong & dynamic team. I also have experience a researcher at Maastricht University and spent most of my life working in education for underprivileged students in India, East Africa and the Netherlands both for online and in-person programmes.I love travelling, riding my bike and baking while I'm not working. I miss working in the development sector but love how social my current work allows me to be. I love to hear the stories of others and seeing other people happy makes me happy.
