I have graduated with a 1st Class in BA (Hons) Childhood and Youth studies with Psychology. Before starting university, I worked at Primark where I gained many valuable skills, such as working within a team and building on my communication skills. Whilst being in first year of university, I volunteered with Bookmark Reading Charity, which was an online organisation whereby children were supported with their reading to enhance their linguistic and literacy skills. This was a valuable job to me because it highlighted my aspirations of working among children. During my second year of university, I completed 60 hours of placement within a nursery, which gave me experience of working with children in a school setting. While it provided me with valuable skills, it also helped me to discover which age range I would like to work with in the future.
