I grew up in Mobile, Alabama. My earliest memories consist of watching new cars drive across the lot at our family business, seeing satellite space images at my dad's workplace, and visiting my cousin at US Air Force bases. These experiences got me interested in the world of all things automotive and aerospace. Fast forward to 2017, after graduating with a materials engineering degree, I finally started working in the industry of my dreams. I started my career as a graduate metallurgist at Constellium. In the years to follow, I learned to develop and industrialize automotive product routes, maintain rolling mill models, and manage capital projects as a automotive metallurgical engineer. This prepared me to move into a automotive product lead position where I could share knowledge and develop new talent. All of these experiences prepared me for an exciting opportunity to become a process engineering leader for Novelis at their new flagship plant in Bay Minette, AL. As an engineer, I am positive, hardworking and gregarious. I take pride in my ability to communicate with all levels of an organization. In addition, I am proud to be recognized for my dedication, positivity, and commitment to excellence. I am particularly interested in long term growth and working to inspire teams by creating a vision. I have a passion for product forecasting, strategy planning, and operational design. As a leader, I enjoy using an adaptive approach with my team - understanding that leadership is not always a one-size-fits-all skill. I enjoy knowledge sharing to help prepare my teams for their next steps. Outside of working, I enjoy mentoring and chatting with the next generation of women in STEM.
