Developed a failure mode and analysis effect report on the equipment and recommended the upgrade of AC cooling fan system to a DC cooling fan system which eliminates the capacitor requirement thereby providing more reliability to the operation of the Variable speed drives.• Investigated critical fire systems that had been in fault status for 6 months which involved Linear heat detection controller faults resulting in false fire alarm and isolation of deluge zones. Performed a detailed root cause analysis and troubleshooting activity and identified a communication relay at fault status which was replaced, and all deluge zones were de-isolated and system put back into operational status.• Initiated a change management process for the Installation of Semi-Remote Circuit breaker switching methodology using a control pendant with external leads that allows the HV personnel to place a physical barrier (intended to be the existing tunnel structure) between personnel and the HV circuit breaker being switched.• Implemented a change management of installation of time on delay on Air conditioning (AC) outdoor units within the tunnel to prevent the AC failures during the operation of the Automatic transfer switch requiring a change of supply during maintenance activity.Responsibilities:• Application of Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM) methodologies to ensure optimum maintenance and replacement strategies• Develop detailed root cause analysis on technically complex failures within the tunnel infrastructure• Develop a solution and initiate a change management process• Prepare detailed and concise technical reports on a weekly basis documenting top issues and progress toward determining root cause and/or corrective action implementation/verification Show less
