CurrentWrite with a “v”, pronounce with a “b”; Shiva. Born in Nepal, adopted, raised in Amsterdam and still in touch with my roots; combining has been an essential part of my life. For over 2 decades I designed and produced a variety of exhibitions, projects, interiors, trade shows, art objects and short movies for a beautiful mix of well-known and less-known organizations. The invaluable experience gained from working with these organizations enabled me to grow in different areas of design and experiment with cross disciplines creating my own style called DesignBlend. After 2020 and some years of putting in work I decided to focus on the things I love. I realized telling visual stories is what I like most. Having a portfolio which ranges from timeless-chic to raw-industrial and already includes short movies and videography ensures a solid basis. Now I offer my visual storytelling talent for corporate movies, product presentations, spatial visualizations, but also personal stories, videoclips and all things worth telling. “Better I combine your whole story”CorporateClients include World Press Photo, KPN, Nescafé, PLAN, Mastervolt, Einhaus and numerous other organizations. Rimal’s art & design projects have been showcased on five continents including; Amsterdam, Paris, München, Moscow, Lisbon, Luanda, Tokyo, Sydney and at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.Art & ExhibitionsRimal’s signature artworks combine hand-engraved drawings on rusted industrial steel, contemporary photography, car/spray paint, used materials and minimalistic design; sometimes with a touch of poetry, occasionally with some gold. The Iron Capture and Materialistic Line have been showcased in Canberra, Moscow, Paris and on various locations in The Netherlands including Der AA Kerk in Groningen, the old part of Rotterdam, the beautiful synagogue of Weesp, inner city of Utrecht and multiple sites in and around Amsterdam.
