About Shiv Gohil

After capturing images for over 20 years, I've learnt that photography is far more than just capturing an image; it’s an art form that demands patience, perseverance & an understanding of the environment. The process requires waiting for the right moment, whether that’s the perfect light, the right expression, or the ideal scene. It also takes perseverance to get the shot just right, often adjusting angles, settings, and equipment to achieve the desired result. Social skills are crucial too, especially in portraiture or event photography, where connecting with subjects helps bring out authentic moments. Above all, mastering lighting—whether natural or artificial—is key to creating mood, highlighting details, and bringing a photograph to life.A summary of my photography journey.- Captured my 1st wedding in 2006 (350 weddings and counting).- Captured every Formula E race from season 1 to season 9.- Captured AlUla's winter tourism season for Royal Commission of AlUla in 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024.- Official lead photographer for the E1 Series championship.
