As a Clinical Research Associate at AbbVie, I feel incredibly fortunate to have contributed to life-changing research in Phase I, II, and III clinical trials across haematology, oncology, and immunology. I’m deeply passionate about advancing science and, most importantly, improving the lives of patients through the work we do.For me, building strong and lasting relationships is at the heart of it all. Whether I’m working closely with clinical trial site staff or collaborating with colleagues, I truly believe that open communication, trust, and genuine connections are essential to the success of every trial.In addition to my role, I serve as a Subject Matter Expert for both Veeva SiteVault and MAPP (AbbVie’s innovative Monitoring App). MAPP provides a streamlined, on-the-go solution for trial monitors, consolidating site information from systems like eTMF, EDC, and Jarvis into a single, easy-to-navigate view. My role includes optimizing processes to ensure efficiency and enabling better decision-making through real-time data insights, improving the experience for site monitors.I’m also deeply involved in cross-functional initiatives, including my roles as co-champion of the EEDI Council (Race and Culture stream) and co-lead of AbbVie’s SPARK Committee. I’ve driven key efforts in fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion, while also advancing sustainability goals through innovative solutions like reducing paper usage and embracing electronic archiving. These experiences have honed my leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, and empowered me to influence positive change. Additionally, I actively contribute to the Culture Club, Newsletter Committee, and help organize team-building offsites - fostering a positive and cohesive work environment.Outside of work, I’m passionate about staying active and living a balanced life. Strength training is a big part of my routine, and I love helping others reach their fitness goals as a Strength and Conditioning coach in my spare time. When I’m not working out, you’ll often find me curled up with a good non-fiction book or spending time with my playful toy poodles, who never fail to bring a smile to my face.I’m always eager to connect, share ideas, and contribute to impactful projects that drive innovation and make a difference in clinical research and beyond.
