We are a bunch of techies and biz folks taking a shot at these problems, starting with SME and the popular Kirana stores. Kirana Fast (kiranafast.com) by Xero Apps is a mobile-first multiuser POS that aims to reduce the barriers and time taken to manage small shop owners by about 70 percent. With zero setup cost, Kirana Fast is on par with traditional POS providers' features without the bulky setup and huge initial and recurring costs. We are on our way to building our D2R platform that would leverage our platform and boost the growth of smaller businesses.

I lead the engineering team for the Paytm Movies vertical (Paytm Insider's mothership). Owned and drove product development and engineering management. Worked closely with Product and Biz/Growth/Operation teams to understand problems and solve them holistically. Wore multiple hats while rebuilding the team in the pandemic. Rebuilt a lean team of 20+ and rewrote/optimized the current system to handle scale and fault tolerance. Groomed tech leads and the next set of leaders in the team. I ensured high ownership to every Individual. Helped every team member with building mental models for making better tech and non-tech decisions.

Play it Live on Insider.in is an interactive content platform where organizers can create byte-sized video formats that can combine real-time audience reactions, adaptive content, sponsor messaging, commerce and rewards. Over the last couple of months, we have launched a variety of innovative shows on the platform including live open mic events, themed quizzes, talk shows, predictive polling events and so on. Soon, we will be launching on-demand short content to the portfolio.We are building this cool product using leading technology like Elixir/Erlang/OTP, MQTT, etc at the backend that helps us achieve scale and very low latency. The battle-tested Erlang VM enables us to build high performant, fault-tolerant, distributed and auto-healing systems inherently.

I started my salaried career here after a small stint trying to startup. Tententen was a very small team of passionate, crazy, cricket-loving folks (https://twitter.com/rameshsrivats/status/138499527324876800) experimenting with cool ideas (Software and hardware). The day started as a developer; the afternoon was spent being a QA (both manual and automation) and ended being a DevOps in the night while a few breaks were spent trying to hone badminton skills. Built many apps; a few that stood out were the Official cricket fantasy league for IPL and Star Sports Tweeplay. We created the first-ever, immensely popular Official Fantasy Cricket game for IPL. A feature-rich game with nuanced rules that is extremely easy to play and is bundled with a lot of cool stuff. Over 500,000 users in 2 months. Everything was done by a small team of 10-12 folks from concept to design, implementation, hosting, and management. Tweeplay was a Twitter chatbot that gave you on-demand cricket videos clips of ongoing IPL matches. The idea to execution was all done in-house, in collab with Star Sports and Twitter India (https://twitter.com/twitterindia/status/472431866445049856). I had built and scaled this product almost singlehandedly over a few nights.
