I am a dedicated Sustainable Infrastructure Engineering (Building Services) student at the Singapore Institute of Technology, driven by a strong foundation in architectural studies and a passion for digitalizing the built environment.During the final year of my diploma program in Architecture at Singapore Polytechnic, I undertook a three month internship position with LAUD Architects. Following graduation, I seized further opportunities by interning at ADDP Architects, where I was able to utilize my acquired knowledge and abilities in the drafting sector of the architectural industry.As an architectural intern, I collaborated with a dynamic team, contributing to the design and development of authority submissions for various project phases. My responsibilities included producing drawings for submission to both regulatory authorities for construction approval and clients for design stage validation. It was during this experience that I uncovered my genuine passion for digitalizing the architectural landscape.Furthering my studies in Sustainable Infrastructure Engineering (Building Services), I broadened my expertise in the sustainability sector of the construction industry through courses such as Building Integrated Digital Delivery and Building Physics. These courses helped me to develop proficient skills in designing architectural systems and building services systems - mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) - as well as how to design a building according to the climatic characteristics of its location and how it can be advantageous. I have also developed communication skills through delivering presentations and working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.I am eager to hear about potential career opportunities, so I would be pleased to chat about job openings in the Sustainable Infrastructure domain.
