About Shiyun Wan

Shiyun is a builder and an explorer. She is most excited about “blank page” projects that require navigating ambiguity, quantifying opportunity, prioritizing resources and a whole lot of communication and change management. Previously, Shiyun advised senior leadership on geopolitical and regulatory risks, and facilitated high-level interactions with regulators, government agencies and trade associations. She’s also driven market expansion, designed and implemented CRM processes, and organised council meetings attended by C-suites. A language enthusiast, Shiyun freelanced as an English teacher to Japanese expatriates in Singapore. She was also part of the inaugural batch of Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) grantees from Singapore, where she taught Mandarin Chinese to college students in Florida, USA. She runs a Meetup community 华语谈天地 (HYTTD) to connect like-minded Chinese language lovers. A lifelong learner, Shiyun challenges herself to take at least one professional upskilling course per year.
