I joined The Next Web (TNW), a Financial Times company, with the task of overseeing an editorial transition, creating a new content strategy, and essentially rebuilding the media operation to focus on the European technology ecosystem. With a team of six people under my leadership, we quickly managed to make TNW a noticeable presence in the European tech media landscape, covering hard technology stories to inform the audience of startups, investors, corporate innovators, and policy makers across the continent.

Tech.eu is Europe's premier technology industry information portal and market intelligence platform. As a journalist, I covered the startup ecosystem in Europe, attended and spoken at numerous conferences across the continent, as well as sent out the weekly newsletter. In addition to that, I (co-)hosted and produced the Tech.eu Podcast, which featured discussion of the most important tech news stories with guests from the industry.Later on, I’d been deeply involved in a series of organisational transformation projects, developing new business directions, and working on new subscription products.

As the head of brand and community, I was responsible for both coordinating and performing a wide range of activities, including media communications, (high-level) social media management, content marketing, internal and external events, community building, etc. I had managed a multidisciplinary team of six to eight people, ensuring smooth community operations and consistent branding of Rockstart, both online and offline.
