I love a good challenge and have always believed that growth lies outside your comfort zone.I come from a family of businessmen & having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in November 2011, I started my corporate journey with Cipla Ltd in the Treasury department. Here, I was responsible for corporate financing, cash management & monitoring of overseas accounts payable. I was also selected as the Core team member for SAP implementation. I am currently working with Nokia as a Team lead, leading a team of 22 Finance professionals, managing India & MEA market & responsible for providing E2E financial controlling of customer project portfolio. In the current role, I provide insights around key metrics and drives organizational effectiveness. I am also responsible for talent acquisition, workforce management, training & succession planning. I work closely with business partners to understand the impact of business changes, receive feedback on & conflict resolution.I have worked as a Financial Controller in Nokia, handling a project, contributing around 20% to the top line for India region (as on 2021 end). I was responsible for periodic project review, forecasting, ensuring healthy balance sheet by regular tracking. In this role, I was instrumental in recovering ~9mnUSD against old voucher settlement from VIL, adding both to the top & bottom line and have received 2 CFO achievement awards. I am an avid reader & traveller which has given me an exposure to different cultures and widened my perspectives. I love to trek and have done a few Himalayan treks which has helped me get out of comfort zone & test my limits.
