To validate the new products (cylinder block, cylinder head, crank shaft, engine assy, tranaxle assy) for existing process by listing down allowable changes in products and raise ECR (engineering change request) for them.2. To validate the process for new products and raise the changes in PFD (Process Flow Diagram) for optimizing new products to avoid non allowable changes in new product3. To validate the resources for new products and raise the changes in existing design or develop a new design with manufacturing drawing including GD&T & drafting detailing.4. To prepare detailed casting model of cylinder block & cylinder head, forging for crank shaft with 2-D detail drawing for machining allowance assessment.5. To prepare a detailed stage by stage machining cycle time parameter sheet for machining process & to prepare stage by stage quality matrix with product & process characteristics for CRANK SHAFT, CYLINDER BLOCK & CYLINDER HEAD 6. To prepare a parametric 3D & 2-D drawing of individual stage for all the 3 lines of CRANK SHAFT, CYLINDER BLOCK & CYLINDER HEAD- in PTC Creo 2.0 and or Delmia v5Apart from that we execute.. Detail machining process Simulation (Delmia V5) Assembly layout simulation & optimization (Delmia V5) Reach ability & visibility study, Posture analysis (RULA) using (Delmia V5)

Lastly in Elecon I was in Helical-P Design department, which is working on planetary as well as helical type of gear boxes and as a senior engineer in the department my responsibilities were….> To workout 3-D design of a Gearbox from given data (from clients side) using Pro-Engineer-WF-5 software, which includes, -Ratio break-up & pair selection -Gear box rating calculations for individual stages -Bearing life calculations for each stages -value engineering implementation For all this engineering calculations we use Kiss-soft, DIN programs, FAG/ Bearingx programes. > To prepare a detailed dimension sheet of Gearbox with (FLS/Foundation if required) to admit clients approval on it.> To gear up all constituents of the gearbox with their detailed drawings to promote manufacturing actions.> To prepare Bill of material with all constituents used in whole Gearbox assembly with their size & quantity.
