About Simone Dos Santos
Graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Mogi das Cruzes (1995), Master in Numerical Methods in Engineering - Federal University of Paraná (2002) and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (2006), Post Doc in Federal University of Paraná (2008), Post Doc in State University of Brasília (2009) and Post Doc in LacTec (2010). Currently is a professor at the Federal University of Piauí and coordinator of the Laboratory of Methods of Computational Modeling-LAMEC, of the Mechanical Engineering course, develop projects and activities related to the use of numerical methods, in particular, of the mechanics of solids and fluids, including structures, soils, soil-structure interaction, and fluid-structure and is the SB advisor and main representative of ASHRAE in Piauí.
