The Women’s Network is an intersectional, staff-led network that exists to provide a forum for staff to inspire and support each other in order to create a better workplace for all.

I manage the Westminster Youth Council (WYC) An inclusive and diverse platform for 11-18 year olds (up to 25 with SEND) who live, study or work in Westminster.I arrange for youth leaders to come together and discuss issues that are pertinent to them. This could be anything from mental health, to living spaces, to gang violence, to the environment and much more!Westminster Youth Council members are led by the Members of UK Youth Parliament. An absolute honour to manage our current elected MYPs -MYP James Balloqui and MYP Kaden Pradhan.Proudly facilitate WYC hybrid weekly meetings with our Council Members at our stunning headquarters, City Hall Victoria London.Our WYC has done hugely important work in furthering the objectives of young people in Westminster and amplifying the youth voice. We receive unique opportunities to attend joint events and conferences, debate significant and topical issues, and network with decision-makers and other young people, nationally and globally.Basically, I have the BEST job in the world! 🌎 🚀

Earlyhelp Parenting Practitioner : Leading the parenting / relationship counselling programmes in the Bi Borough Westminster, Kensington/ Chelsea. Project managing and delivering parenting programmes to parents with children aged 0-19 years old. Working in partnerships with multiple agencies and organisations such as NHS, police, counter terrorism, schools, family support services and community outreach. Trained Facilitator for: Non Violent Resistance, Circle of Security, Triple P Positive Parenting (all levels), SFSC, Parents as Partners, Kids Time, Sign Along and Five to Thrive. (2021) Non Violent Resistance Qualified Supervisor. Westminster Youth Council Lead : Leading the Youth MYP and Youth Council Members. Supporting young people 11-25 years to have a voice and meet decision makers to improve life choices, experiences and opportunities in Westminster. Collaboration work with MPs and Councillors, British Youth Council, London Assembly and UK Youth Parliament. Taking part in local, national and international projects.

With the support of NV Directors, Publisher (AidenWhite) Editors (Catarina Joel & Jean Gray) I established the 'Newham Youth Voices' platform for the newspaper. I support young people to write articles / poetry / spoken word pieces, that reflect the values of community news and views - Purely from a youth perspective. We focus on topics that are important to them. Newham Voices Journalism is based on core values of accuracy, fairness, independence, humanity, accountability and transparency with a strong commitment to citizen journalism.

ashoksvision.org@ashoksvision Registered CIO Charity - 1193446 Youth Mental Wellbeing Charity that focuses on preventing isolation and encouraging positive youth engagement. Since the pandemic, along with a team of youth volunteers we run a weekly market stall where selfcare items are given to young people for free. It has been a most valuable service in the community and continues operating throughout lockdown. Project is at an early stage and hopes are for it expand to other parts of London and eventually on an international platform.

Teaching local residents of all ages the importance of Nature and Conservation. A specialist role, where I worked within a small team helping to preserve community green spaces and nature reserves.

This role included developing and implementing innovative ways of working with community groups, stakeholder’s children and families. Carrying specified tasks to increase access to the centres.Creative development and planning purposeful playgroups, parenting workshops as well as holding cases with individual families. The main aim is to build strong outcomes focused relationships withchildren and adults that develop capacity, resilience and independence.

Part of a team of Play workers, providing a Children and Young Peoples mobile play service across Newham Borough (Parks, community Services (CYPS) Community centres, schools) Working closely with the community. London sourcing out and supporting hard to reach children and families through tailored groups, one to ones and making referrals. A physically challenging role which required excellent negotiation, marketing and outreaching skills.

Deployed to provide support to public service departments including Social Services, NHS, Education Institutes, HM Prison Service and private companies.
