Role: Middle (2010) and Senior (2011-2012) JavaScript Developer Project: AVID Media Central (formerly Interplay Central) Developing the web version of the software that is intended to be used by TV journalists for creating and running the broadcast materials. The product has a rich UI and the server side works mainly as a set of REST services that provide the client’side with requested data. The UI components in the product are mainly created using ExtJS components.Responsibilities and key accomplishments:• Client-side development using JavaScript: coding, refactoring, writing unit tests, bug fixing and debugging.• Performs code reviews, leads code review meetings.• Performs JavaScript– and CSS–related training.• Mentor junior developers.• Writing architectural design documents.• Participate in planning and coordination of tasks.• Requirement analysis and finalisation.• Performance analysis and code optimisation.• Prototyping new features.Team: local team up to 10 members and 6 teams around the world (SCRUM of SCRUM).
