Project Manager
Current• Oversee project budgets and lifecycles for a team managing up to 50 concurrent improvement and installation projects• Prepare accurate and timely financial reporting for current and forecasted capital spending by project• Provide leadership, supervision, and coaching for the team. Lead meetings to review the status and progress of projects• Meet and communicate with clients including private companies, nonprofits, and government agencies• Determine and approve project requirements and pricing quotes. Negotiate terms and administer contracts• Identify jurisdictional obligations to ensure compliance with state zoning, construction, and traffic laws. File permitapplications with supporting documentation, manage payments and fees, and follow up to secure approvals• Coordinate support services through completion to ensure the success of clients’ projects• Seek continuous improvements of operational processes, systems, and regulatory controls Selected Accomplishments:• Developed the company’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) for project management. Updated training procedures for project coordinators and team members to reflect new SOPs• Delivered high-profile projects on-time, on-budget, and adhering to strict quality standards. Projects of note include:• International Monetary Fund (IMF) building, Washington, DC: managed improvements/updates• Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, Washington, DC: coordinated multiple projects of $1M+• International Spy Museum, Washington, DC: managed multiple projects during construction of $500k+• Reunion Square, Washington, DC: coordinated street and utility improvement projects for a new building
