I am a Scottish qualified solicitor and I advise exclusively on Employment law.I am currently employed in house as Senior Corporate Counsel, Labour & Employment for UKI EMEA at Rimini Street (www.riministreet.com). I am responsible for all advice in relation to employment law matters across Rimini Street's EMEA business. Throughout my career I have dealt with a wide range of clients from small family businesses to large international companies, covering all areas of contentious and non-contentious Employment law from advising clients on how best to deal with disciplinary, grievance and absence issues to providing the Employment law advice required in relation to commercial contracts, business sales and all TUPE related queries. I particularly enjoy the contentious aspect of the role however and I have regularly appeared in the Employment Tribunal (I still do whenever I get the chance!).During my time at McGrigors/Pinsent Masons, I spent 9 months seconded to Group Legal Operations at HBOS and two separate periods amounting to 9 months seconded to the central legal team at BP plc.
