City carrier for more than 16 routes which includes walking 10 to 12 miles each day in various types of weather. Physically demanding position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work 6 days a week, more than 10 hours a day and carry a 50# bag while holding ads, catalogs and mail at the same time. Included in these tasks are:• Sort and organize incoming mail. • Deliver mail to the public and memorize routes, street address and names on over 16 routes. • Load and unload mail vehicle.• Proven ability to understand the sensitive nature of mail delivery.
