As you can see from above, my name is Shontay Williams. I am a native of Roanoke Rapids, NC currently residing in Chapel Hill, NC. I have always had a passion for healthcare and taking care of people. I expounded upon this passion by becoming certified as a Paramedic working in Emergency Services. While in Emergency Services I have gained a skill set that allows me to perform vital patient assessments, administer numerous treatments, and perform numerous interventions depending on the patient’s clinical presentation. I am a recent graduate of Strayer University with a BA in Business Administration along with a concentration in Health Services.  During my time at Strayer University, I have acquired more skills and knowledge about various topics that can be applied to any position within the healthcare industry and business sector. With the passion of helping people along with gained knowledge in the business sector, I now aspire to become an effective leader and utilize the skills I have gain more in depth.  I am a person that is committed to teamwork and connect well with others.  I am also very supportive of my peers, value collaboration, and can adapt to any given situation. In my opinion this is what being in leadership is all about.
