As a Web Developer in the Marketing Department I provide many services to all departments and programs on campus including:• Project Manager. Triage incoming work/tickets/requests. Project Manager for development of the website and mobile apps. Supervising 4 interns/employees. Using the Agile/Scrum process whilst utilizing Jira. The data connection/hosting is through Amazon Web Services and utilizes AngularJS, Mapbox, Dwolla, PHP, Python, jDango and several other technologies. I also created the WordPress blog site in which I implemented Google Tag Manager, Plug ins and Security.

As the Program Director for the Computer Information Systems program I was responsible for many things including:• Finding new adjunct instructors.• Teaching 95% of the classes including online using Blackboard.• Developing the curriculum and keeping an eye out for new technologies. • Participated as Co-PI in three grants. Landed all three!• Marketing the program which included creating fliers and pamphlets as well as attending job and college fairs to present and market to potential new students. • Articulation agreements.• Advising 60+ students at any given semester. • Chaired the Technology Committee for 2 years which was comprised of 20 faculty and staff. This committee was responsible for facilitating change within the classroom, monitoring what technologies were being used and decide what should be used in the future. Also what were the new up and coming technologies used in classrooms, who might use it and how much does it cost. • The most common courses I taught were HTML, CSS, Javascript, Database Management & Design (SQL Server, MySQL, Access and VB.NET), Flash, ASP.NET, Visual Studio.NET (primarily Visual Basic and Visual C++ with the occasional C#), Java, Mobile Design, Python, Networking and PC Hardware. Many other classes as well that would rotate in the schedule. There were over 20 courses total I was responsible for teaching and designing.• Co-PI on 3 grants. Two from the National Science Foundation and one from the Maine Department of Labor. Grant manager for the two NSF grants. This included budgeting, managing and monthly financial reports consisting of hardware, software and related salaries. Through those two grants a new associates degree program in Geographic Information Systems was created in conjunction with the NSF and NASA. I was the primary instructor in this program consisting of ArcGIS, GPS and Remote Sensing.

I directed the college choir for several years. This entailed picking and arranging the music and scheduling special concerts. These concerts included participation from local organizations and colleges as well. It is only a two year school so as students graduated it became hard to find new students that wanted to sing in order to keep the choir running. I also played piano and arranged music for the college employee band.

As director of the Food Bank there are five workers that I managed. Everyone pretty much just worked together and does what is needed. I monitored the finances and made sure everything needed was in place. As Director I monitored all finances and dealt with distributors and bills. Whenever a creditor had an issue or something needed to be done I was the contact person responsible for making sure someone did the task at hand.

As the owner of the company I was very involved in every aspect. I was the lead project manager and programmer. A small sampling of the systems we created are:• Campground Reservation and Financial System. Client/Server database using MS Access and SQL Server. Contains 250+ pages of customized code from scratch. Took 5 years to complete. This included setting up all hardware and wiring the building as well.• Tutoring Tracking System. Client/Server database using MS Access to track students and tutors. When each session occurred and how long.• Adjunct Instructor Payroll System. Microsoft Access and Excel. Tracking new and existing contracts for adjunct instructors. Included reporting with around 25+ pages of customized code for calculations and reporting.• Email Kiosk created with Visual Basic .NET for Windows 7. This system would start the program by default when the computer booted. If the user tried to escape out or bypass it would auto-shutdown the computer. There was no way out of or around the system.

Board member for two years and served as the treasurer. Reviewed and signed off on monthly account statements and verified all financial accounts on a monthly basis. This included all purchases and payable/receivables. Also responsible for dealing with the town. Attended town meetings and discussed current issues with water and sewer services that might affect the town. Accounted for any issues the Town Council may have had that needed to be addressed. Approved the updating of technology and any office equipment.

Taught eight courses and designed the related curriculum as well as advising students. Also taught courses for the evening Continuing Education program. Student Advisor to around 60 students.

Programmer using InstallScript (InstallShield), Visual C++ and the Windows Registry. Also a trainer for current employees on new technologies as well as new employees. Shift supervisor as well. Monitored random calls to verify the staff were handling calls properly and took over calls when necessary.

Perform Accounts Receivable functions such as accepting payments and billing in a computer network setting. Acted as the System operator for the previous Novell network. A Unix-based network is currently being used. Started this position as a temp hired to create an Access Database for their road crew to track and update property records in real-time from their trucks.

Created scripts for weekly radio advertising. Used the businesses weekly sales fliers to create radio scripts (which included sound bytes appropriate for the ad and season). This was a radio station so I wrote radio commercials for many types of businesses. Depending on who paid for what and how long.
