Many other classes as well that would rotate in the schedule. There were over 20 courses total I was responsible for teaching and designing.• Co-PI on 3 grants. Two from the National Science Foundation and one from the Maine Department of Labor. Grant manager for the two NSF grants. This included budgeting, managing and monthly financial reports consisting of hardware, software and related salaries. Through those two grants a new associates degree program in Geographic Information Systems was created in conjunction with the NSF and NASA. I was the primary instructor in this program consisting of ArcGIS, GPS and Remote Sensing. -

A small sampling of the systems we created are:• Campground Reservation and Financial System. Client/Server database using MS Access and SQL Server. Contains 250+ pages of customized code from scratch. Took 5 years to complete. This included setting up all hardware and wiring the building as well.• Tutoring Tracking System. Client/Server database using MS Access to track students and tutors. When each session occurred and how long.• Adjunct Instructor Payroll System. Microsoft Access and Excel. Tracking new and existing contracts for adjunct instructors. Included reporting with around 25+ pages of customized code for calculations and reporting.• Email Kiosk created with Visual Basic .NET for Windows 7. This system would start the program by default when the computer booted. If the user tried to escape out or bypass it would auto-shutdown the computer. There was no way out of or around the system.
