• Responsible for month-end and year-end closings, ensuring all reconciliations, journals and accruals are correctly prepared and posted.• Prepare monthly financial accounting reports and management accounting reports.• Support budget preparation and forecasting.• Conduct cost variance analysis and financial analysis.• Update annual manufacturing standard cost in ERP system.• Calculate product costing, inventory costing, COGS and contribution margin per unit of new and sold products.• Coordinate with periodic inventory physical counts.• Reconcile and maintain inventory general ledger.• Record inventory movements, adjustments and obsolescence provision if any.• Maintain accounting controls and recommend policies and procedures to enhance the processes, regarding costing, inventory and taxation.• Assist in annual external audits.• Prepare and provide ad-hoc management reports.

• Prepare data entries of purchase invoices and purchase orders in ERP system.• Process payments to various suppliers via Japanese I-Banking system.• Reconcile bank statements and liaise with suppliers and bankers for any necessary banking regulations.• Prepare and post related payment journal entries in ERP system by filing and documentation of supplier invoices and remittance advices.• Handle computation and submission of quarterly and annual corporate income tax and commercial tax returns.• Represent before the tax authorities for the tax audit and for other various tax rectification matters.• Identify solutions for complex tax issues with in-depth analysis.
