Sydney-based CA ANZ was transitioning Acuity to an outside content agency and asked if I could edit it from Melbourne while arrangements were being put in place. I ended up editing it for a year, working with NZ-based deputy editor Helen Ozolins, together with digital editor Shelley Dempsey and publisher Peter Arnold in Sydney. At the end of that year, Acuity was a finalist for the Mumbrella Publish award for best association or member publication.

The award-winning INTHEBLACK is Australia's largest-circulation monthly business magazine and the flagship publication of CPA Australia. It has an audited circulation of almost 160,000 and is distributed to CPA members, to CEOs and CFOs of ASX 200 companies, at newsagencies and in Qantas Business lounges.I edited the magazine, working with CPA Australia and BauerWorks team members in Melbourne and Sydney as well as a team of talented writers, photographers and multimedia creators across the Asia-Pacific region. The team included talents like deputy editor Lynda Dugdale, chief designer Kate Barnett and chief sub-editor Helen Eva.We made INTHEBLACK an even more powerful publishing product across print, digital and social media - one that delivereds insight to CPA Australia members and in the broader business community across Australia and APAC.In 2016 INTHEBLACK won just almost every award going for best association or membership magazine. (We came second to British Airways in the UK-based International Content Marketing Awards.) Nick Gruen at the Club Troppo website called INTHEBLACK "Australia’s best feature mag ... I can’t think of anything that comes close. Just lots of really interesting articles."

Public Accountant is the magazine of the Institute of Public Accountants, one of Australia's three professional accounting bodies. I edited the magazine from its early-2013 relaunch, leading it to a stronger focus on core SME accounting issues. I commissioned content and oversaw the design, working with a terrific client team at the IPA led by Wayne Debernardi and Vicki Stylianou, Edge designers like Ilona Elias and Dan Cordiner, and ace sub-editor Helen Eva.
