Awarded a 1 year fellowship from The Royal Society of Edinburgh & Scottish Enterprise. Provided support and resource to grow Shot Scope from idea to start-up and raise capital from Scottish Enterprise and investors.

Taught design technology subjects at high schools in West Lothian and Falkirk. Specializing in engineering science and technological studies.

Working as part of a highly skilled engineering team to provide electronic and software design services, from initial concept and specification to design, prototype and volume manufacture. Designed electronics products for medical, military, oil and gas and industrial markets. Responsibilities include; product specification, electronic design, schematic entry, PCB layout, embedded software and management of subcontracted fabricators and assemblers.

Digital design position in the Networking and Computing Systems Group (NCSG). Working in a team with a high level of global interaction. Designed, developed and manufactured customer reference boards to promote Freescale silicon across telecom markets.Developed experience and knowledge in electronic design, schematic entry, PCB layout, embedded software, procurement of components, project management and design for manufacture.

Responsible for quality of production and PCB assembly line yields making process adjustments to deliver hourly and daily targets. Documented throughput and present manufacturing results at production and quality meetings. Responsibilities; monitor production, implement positive change, manage and monitor operators on the production line and design long term solutions to improve both the manufacturing process and production quality. Work in accordance with ISO-9000 and six-sigma regulations.
