In my association with SHOPX, I re-organised the end-to-end SCM operations, streamlining the team and the logistics partners, building new and managing existing relationships, and widely expanding supply chain capabilities. I ensured cost reduction, service improvement, and business expansion, by creating a model based on a deep analysis of competing constraints of costs, service levels, and implementation time-frames. I revitalized the decades-old supply chain infrastructure through direct delivery to retail across the country. With a team of 1200+, I attained industry-leading operational and cost efficiencies. I created supply networks by planning facilities and capacities for multiple business verticals and geographies. Cross-Functional Coordination with Product Mgmt., Engineering, Customer Support, Category Mgmt., Finance, and Sales closely to drive product and business strategy.

As co-founder, I offered strategic consultancy to industry leaders related to International and National Trade, Supply Chain Transformations, and Cold Chain Operations.

With Hershey, I re-designed the supply chain network multiple times, consistent with global enterpise strategy. I developed systems, processes, and people in my own and other teams, that covered sourcing, inventory management, manufacturing, shipment, delivery, and stock movements. Furthermore, I spearheaded the end-to-end supply chain planning and optimization functions, and initiated demand & supply planning, and S&OP processes, and built them up to industry standards. I also spearheaded warehouse space optimisation projects, initiated multi-modal transportation, and designed cold-chain infrastructure. I headed the ToC project, bringing inventory levels to 15+ cycles per year.

Mumbai Area, India

In this role, I achieved 95% on-time supplies, reduced stock-outs, secured Class-A OTIF scores, and elevated inventory turns to enable Heinz to secure highest profitable growth in the Indian FMCG sector. I revamped the warehouse and factory network in accordance with legal, statutory, policy, and strategic imperatives, redesigned the secondary freight process, and designed and implemented multi-modal transportation. I was also part of full-cycle SAP implementation as a Super-User from Supply Chain team.
