My current responsibilities are:● To process daily Purchase Orders to different vendors for on-going Laboratories requirements from Canada, USA and Europe.● To negotiate with vendor for pricing and arrange best quotations.● Set-up pricing agreement.● Search products with negotiating pricing.● Setup-up contract agreements.● Manage service agreements.

Responsible for the import/purchase of consumable items, chemicals and spare parts for maintenance, food services, laundry equipments and House keeping.● Obtain quotations from suppliers through mail, phone or in person.● Analyse quotations to recommend effective purchasing decisions. This involves preparation of appraisals, which primarily includes evaluation of price, quality, brand, and delivery and after sale & service along with a satisfied client list to ensure product(s) already used in a reputable organisation.● Undertake market surveys and marketing intelligence studies for effective purchasing by regularly reading newspapers, flyers, Magazines, purchasing journals and browsing Internet.● Make effective negotiations with the suppliers for obtaining competitive prices.● Process purchase requisition and purchase order on time.● Ensure a high level of transparency maintained in all purchasing decisions.● Coordinated and communicated with the relevant inventory personnel to ensure that inventory levels were within budgeted target.● Meet customers (end-users) to ensure customer satisfaction.● Review outstanding purchase requisitions and pending purchase orders on a monthly basis with the superior and take appropriate corrective actions, if required.● Any other task assigned by the supervisor or designee.
