Mr. Hussein has extensive experience as an institutional development and training specialist, with 35 years of experience in the fields of community development and capacity development plan, capacity needs assessments studies. He is skilled in the design and development of survey instruments, and the application of a variety of surveying techniques involving the collection of quantitative and qualitative data. He has conducted numerous socioeconomic studies and market investigations in urban, rural and Bedouin communities in Egypt. Mr. Hussein has a variety of experiences from working on development programs funded by international donor agencies. Over the last seventeen years, he has been involved in a variety of nationwide projects funded by USAID, WB, GIZ, UNDP and other international donor agencies. His role on these projects has focused on building the institutional capacity of governmental agencies involved in infrastructural and community development projects, as well as enhancing the managerial capacity of nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) operating in urban and rural communities in the most govern orates.
