CFO/FD/VP Finance for cloud-based gaming service, working alongside the CEO and the executive team. Providing broad financial leadership ranging from controllership to commercial and fundraising partnering.• Prepared and presented the Board Report financials at the quarterly Board meeting.• Adapted the financial business model for investors which was key in securing $xM+ investment.• Led and optimised the R&D tax credit rebate process (worth £xxxK+ per year) for the business.• Partnered with the Chief Revenue Officer to secure two important telco deals in key Asian markets.• Diligent cashflow management (reduced the cash burn rate by 25%) by implementing the furlough scheme, leading a restructure alongside the CEO and managing suppliers.• Partnered with the Licensing Director and CEO to license and manage key content.• Completed the acquisition and sale of a valuable gaming database.

Finance director for the largest international division of CNN partnering with the President and his executive team. Reported into the Warner Media International CFO and indirectly to the CNN CFO.• Led the business unit through the monthly Forecast and annual Budget/Long Range Plan cycles.• Presented the Annual Operating Plan financials to the leadership team at Turner International and CNN.• My key financial achievements were:-o Building the local language franchise business alongside the VP of Content Sales culminating in a 10-year branded channel deal worth $xxM.o Partnering with the business to deliver >5% Content Sales average annual growth from 2015 to 2019. o Delivering $xM of incremental contribution to beat the year end Forecast by accelerating revenue recognition and driving expense savings.o Collaborating with the VP Content to reduce content creation spend for ad sales campaigns by 16% through process changes and influencing senior sales’ stakeholders.o Successfully implementing a multi-million dollar reorganisation to manage the cost base more effectively.• Operational lead for real estate planning across the division including office moves in Singapore and Tokyo as well as the London HQ move. Worked closely with Turner’s global real estate planning team.• Built a highly regarded finance team to take ownership and manage the financial process and reporting.• Interim head of the Content Sales and Out of Home division in 2019 leading a team of 15 sales’ executives.

The finance lead for the UK Motion Pictures’ business which generated $xxM+ revenue per year. Also, the finance partner to the UK CMO and UK FP&A consolidation lead. Reported directly to the UK, now EMEA, CFO.• Led the FP&A process for the UK and presented the quarterly forecast to the EMEA CEO and CFO.• Key finance lead in the delivery of over $1M of marketing efficiencies. • Finance lead on significant business projects including UK marketing agency review and UK sourcing savings.

Headed up the retail finance function for EMEA Home Entertainment. Reported directly to the VP of Finance.• Re-engineered the forecasting process to make it more robust with strong metrics and increased automation.• Successfully directed a trade spend systems’ project that generated over $0.5M of savings.

Spearheaded key finance and business development processes, in conjunction with the business VP.• Assumed a commercial leadership role for the Western Europe Food, Health & Beauty and Pets (FHBP) division, including the negotiation of a $1.5M Earned Revenue global deal with a major licensee.• For six months during 2007-2008, took on the interim role of managing the UK confectionery licensing business.
