MEPA aims at understanding the geopolitical implications of both - the Middle East and American foreign policy - which affects the formation of the world, through dialogue and debates among students and faculty.This group exists to promote political as well as educational debate and allocate room for students to share their visions and/or interpretations of political events in Middle East, and its implications for American foreign policy. The group acts as an official voice for, and ultimately act on behalf of the student body of DePaul University Middle Eastern Affairs as well as the DePaul University American foreign policy and its interests, to be an instrument for the cooperation of students, faculty and the community; to provide an open forum for dialogue and to afford students the opportunity to participate in voicing their opinions concerning the politics of the Middle East. In addition to that, the group shall provide a Model Arab League, similar to Model UN league, in which students can take the shoes of Arab states and debate various motions voted upon by members.

My participation in the Egyptian revolution in 2011 is what brought me back to the US as it inspired me to excel in my studies in order to prepare myself with the necessary knowledge, skillset, and strategies to better the nation socially and educationally. After being a member of the national EAD chapter for a number of years I felt inclined to take it a step further and founded this student chapter continuing its mission at DePaul.

The mission of Arabic Language and Culture Club at DePaul University is to introduce the student body to the Arabic language, its many cultures and engage in intercultural dialogue. ALCC does this through hosting cultural heritage celebrations, Arabic literature & poetry events, Arabic coffee hour's and panel events highlighting different topics in the historic and contemporary Arab world.

Position at the Egyptian Consulate duties include but are not limited two: Working directly with all office heads (Consul General, Deputy Consul General, Passports and Visas, Commercial Legalization, Finance, Community Outreach); Composing statements on behalf of the Consulate; Processing American companies documents to export to Egypt; Complete any tasks requested directly from the Ambassador; Conduct varies research ordered by Ambassador and staff; Preparation of statistics, excel sheets, and various proposals; Meeting with Ambassador at least once week, Prepare questions and topics for discussion (required by Ambassador himself); Advocacy; Analyst, Conflict Resolution, Creative/Design, Customer Service, Community Development, Editorial, Event Planning, International Politics, Management, Marketing, Operations, Research, and further training.
