Thomas Melgarejo is the owner of Latin dance school 'Showy Dance', based in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, Coburg. At Showy Dance, Thomas teaches group classes and private lessons. He offers floor shows and workshops and performs at all major Latin festivals. He specialises in various rhythms including Salsa LA Style and Argentine Tango. Thomas is also a qualified Personal Trainer and licensed instructor of the invigorating and popular dance workout: Zumba fitness. Thomas, originally from Argentina, has over 20 years of Latin dance experience and within those years has been teaching, performing and running workshops all over Melbourne, interstate and overseas. In Argentina, he was teaching, performing and creating student performances in the most popular club of Bueno Aires: Azucar. While he was living in Argentina, Thomas was asked to run workshops in countries all over the world including Belgium, Holland and Luxemburg. Due to unfortunate economic change to Argentina, Thomas arrived in Australia in 2007 where he continues to deliver his true passion to the people of Australia – dancing!

If you can walk, you can dance! This is a group for anyone interested in dancing, getting fit and having fun. All skill levels are welcome as classes are opened to all levels. Showy Dance takes any rhythm as an excuse to have fun from Salsa to Tango and from Bachata to Zumba, anything is valid for the purpose of sharing your love for dancing. Showy Dance will show you how to feel free allowing you to dance without any limitations.
