This feature replaced a TDM/Digital Attendant Console with a Software-only based solution using SIP VoIP while still supporting the full feature set of the original Digital Attendant Console (2250)-Worked with a 3rd party development partner (Datapulse) to develop a SDK (Software Development Kit) to enable ALL 3rd party development partners to easily migrate their software from the 2250 to 3250-Was the first author for resulting patent filing on June, 2011: METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING CONFIGURATION AND REGISTRATION INFORMATION FOR SESSION INITIATION PROTOCOL DEVICESTeam Leader for IP Phone Adapter January 2008 - March 2009 -Led a team which developed a C# .Net application to enable 1140 SIP phones to register as OCS 2007 endpoints-The software development team consisted of five developers, as well as two Co-op students mentored by myself-Worked with one Full Time Developer and a Co-op student and developed “Migration Manager” which could provide an automated, touch-less migration of CS1000 Unistim phones to SIP Endpoints which would automatically register to a SIP server with the correct configuration.

This product help lead to the multiyear partnership between Microsoft and Nortel (Innovative Communications Alliance (ICA))-I made all the needed changes to CS1000 SIP messaging to support VoIP between the CS1000 and LCS2005-I was a Senior Designer/Consultant for the CS1000 Converged Office release which supported Office Communication Server 2007 (OCS 2007). Worked in Redmond, WA with the Microsoft design team during the project to help address issue found during the project.
