I'm a full-time student with a passion for the biological sciences, particularly human anatomy and cellular biology. I love giving back to the community, and I am active in Best Buddies, an international non-profit organization dedicated to the inclusion of those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I am also an alumna of Phi Sigma Rho, a social sorority (and support network) for women in STEM.I have been very active in both of these organizations, holding leadership positions throughout my undergraduate career. I was elected the Vice President of Internal Affairs for the UCLA Nu chapter of Phi Sigma Rho by my fellow sisters, and I later became the Finance Director for Best Buddies at UCLA while interning for the state office as well.My dedication and passion for the work that I do drives me to be better, whether it is in my personal or professional life. Although I may be from a small town, I aim to do big things, and I have no hesitation when pursuing new opportunities that I believe have some benefit. My diverse background lends me a unique point of view, as I can integrate into many different kinds of communities. Currently, I am studying Contemporary Human Anatomy at EVMS, where I will graduate with a MS degree in May. I plan to attend medical school soon thereafter, beginning in the fall of 2020.
