My vision is for every capacity-building intervention aiming to build a better world to leverage advances in the field of learning technology and learning sciences for maximum impact. To actualize this mission, I started the Learning Designers Community (LDC) in 2022 as a platform for cross-sectoral learning, authentic connections, peer-support and field advancement. LDC is a global network of learning designers and facilitators from the development, education, and corporate sectors, dedicated to advancing innovative and impactful learning experiences worldwide. I also collaborate with other organizations to co-create evidence-based learning strategies and products. These include designing program design guides, quality assurance processes, online courses, learning journeys, and educational games. Over the last 15 years, I have conceptualized and managed large-scale capacity building programs for adolescents, youth, and rural women in India, and teachers in Bhutan, Cameroon, Maldives, and Nigeria. I have worked with organizations, including UNESCO MGIEP, UNICEF, Search for Common Ground, UNFPA (India), Aga Khan Foundation and non-profit organizations in India to design and implement over 20 curriculums, and courses including in-person, blended and online training for over 51.5LK individuals.I have also evaluated capacity building programs on themes like active citizenship, life skills, comprehensive sexuality education, and digital pedagogy, and written articles, research papers, policy recommendations that have been presented in conferences and published in magazines and journals. I'm passionate about conducting and disseminating research that can guide learning designers, product developers and policy makers to improve their learning interventions. I am interested in research at the intersection of technology, learning, and allied fields like instructional design, behavioral science, cognitive science, UX design, neuroscience, human-centered design, and education.
