Responsible for six state area (MI, IN, IL, WI, MN, IA) of wholesale lending of First Mortgage Conforming and Bank One Portfolio loan programs. Responsible for hiring new sales staff and rebuilding territory. Sales calls with sales representatives on key mortgage broker accounts, focusing on those that can provide the company the most profitable volume. Cut off those clients that did not fit company profile of profitability. Coordinating operations and sales to provide quality customer service. Nine sales professionals work in the Central Region, three First Mortgage and five Bank One Portfolio Business Development Managers. Recruited 5 new sales professionals in 2002. Total 2002 loan production in first mortgage was $640 million and Bank One Portfolio $273 million.

Wholesale production grew to 45% of total monthly closings.2/97-4/98 Construction-Permanent Residential Sales Manager. This position was national in responsibility and scope. Responsibilities entailed C-P production via different channels (Retail and Wholesale), focus on profitability of product line to increase revenues, decrease expenses, streamline processing, and make sure the C-P product conformed to policy/guideline changes. Facilitate product development and enhancement, update of product information, product marketing, education and training of sales staff (Retail and Mortgage Broker Loan Originators), primary contact for all corporate communication between the department and other areas of the company. C-P Department was 120% of profitability plan in 1997.
