Having spent a decade in the consulting world, I can narrow my professional motivators down to 3 things:1) I love digging into challenges and problems, and coming up with ideas of how we can solve them2) I enjoy understanding and exploring how technology can be used to solve said challenges (with a more business-focused lens rather than a technical one)3) I love leading teams towards common goals (insert cheesy line, like "one team one dream")The last few years of my career have largely focused on planning, design and delivery of large-scale contact centre transformations with technology at the core - Salesforce and Genesys Cloud - in roles ranging across Program/Project Management, Product Ownership and Business Architect. Most importantly, I've enjoyed every bit of it, not only because it allowed me to apply and strengthen those 3 top motivators, but also because it's allowed me to see my team's work come to life and generate real benefits for the clients I've worked with - whether that's reducing their cost stack, improving the levels of customer service they provide, or improving the lives of their agents so they can do their jobs better. I'm not always the 'big ideas guy', but certainly know how to put plans together and get them executed. Mental and emotional wellbeing is a HUGE focus for me - and I often try to bring insights from my own development into my professional environment (through sharing learning, running meditation sessions or simply implementing good work-life balance practices).
